The Department of Modern and Classical Languages is actively seeking candidates for the Language Tutoring Program. You must be a full-time USF student in order to qualify.
Tutorial positions are available for native or advanced speakers of: Arabic, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili and Tagalog. Anyone proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), Latin, or ancient Greek may apply.
*French and Spanish tutor applicants only: All French and Spanish conversation tutors are required to take the two-unit course, French 390/Spanish390 Special Topics: Foreign Language Teaching Pedagogy, in order to be eligible to tutor. This course can be taken simultaneously while tutoring for the first time. For more information, contact Professor Karyn Schell at kschell@usfca.edu.
